Wily West Productions is looking to establish strong relationships with local playwrights.   We want to work with writers who believe in our mission, support us and attend our productions.  We are committed to developing and supporting our writers and we are looking for playwrights who are interested in an ongoing productive association with our company.   If you are new to us, please include a cover letter that tells us who you are and what you write.

We are currently seeking scripts for our 2011 Season!  We are looking for full length and short plays.

GUIDELINES

Playwrights must live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Each playwright may submit two scripts.

Each script must be no more than 85 pages long.

All submissions must be electronic in MS Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format only.  If you  cannot send an electronic copy, contact us and we will make arrangements for hard copy submission. 

No scripts will be returned—save postage. No SASE required.  

Plays that have received a production of any kind (Equity or non-Equity), musicals, children's shows, and any unsolicited longer than 85 pages are not accepted. 

Each manuscript must be typed and be in standard script format.

Title page must include name, address and phone number. Please include an e-mail address if possible.

To be considered for the 2011 Season all submissions must be made by midnight January 10, 2011.
